170 Syrian evacuee’s in İzmir begun to benefit from new community center founded by WATAN. This center was opened in December offering its services for Syrian evacuees and other evacuees.
Employing 28 staff members, the center offers comprehensive consultation services about evacuees’ rights, set legal awareness sessions, Psychological and social support services, facilitate public services like translation, registration and accompanying in hospitals and help children to admit in governmental schools.
The European Union funded this project in partnership with World Vision Foundation. Official Turkish agencies, Turkish Red Crescent, UNICEF and local and international organizations attended the opening.
